Greg & Dudley Fontaine	Dudley & Maverick 2010 International Federation of Cynological Sports World Agility Championships	Dudley & Sweet World Agility Open Silver Medalists Individual Pentathlon 2011		THE FONTAINE’S HAVE BEEN FORTUNATE TO HAVE MORE THAN THEIR SHARE OF COMPETITIVE SUCCESS. Greg & his Labrador Retriever Ivan were USDAA Grand Prix National Finalists in 2000 & 2001, finishing 5th in 2000.  Ivan was the top AKC Labrador Retriever for 2001 & 2003, was invited to compete at the 2002 Purina Incredible Dog Challenge, and earned his AKC MACH & USDAA ADCH. Dudley & her Poodles Bleu, Shay, and Keen all earned AKC Master Agility and Jumpers titles. Bleu and Keen competed at the Purina Incredible Outdoor Adventure Challenge in 2002 & 2003. Greg & Dudley have both trained and run their Border Collie Maverick.  Greg & Maverick won the 2007 USDAA Southeast Regional Jumpers class.  Dudley & Maverick have won the 2008 USDAA Southeast Regional Steeplechase, and the 2009 USDAA Southeast Regional Jumpers and Grand Prix classes. Dudley & Maverick were USDAA Steeplechase National Finalists in 2008 and finished 4th at the 2009 AKC Agility National Championships.  They finished 2nd at the 2009 USDAA Grand Prix National Finals. They returned to the 2010 USDAA Dog Agility Masters Team Finals and a 5th place at Grand Prix National Finals.  Maverick has earned his AKC MACH & USDAA ADCH. DUDLEY & MAVERICK REPRESENTED THE U.S.A. AT THE 2010 IFCS AGILITY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS! Dudley & her Border Collie Sweet have won the 2009 USDAA Southeast Regional Grand Prix and Dog Agility Masters Team Tournament, and the 2009 USDAA North Central Regional Grand Prix.  Dudley & Sweet finished 3rd at the 2010 AKC Agility National Championships.  They were 2010 USDAA Dog Agility Masters Team and Grand Prix National Finalists.  Sweet has earned her AKC MACH & USDA ADCH. DUDLEY & SWEET WERE SILVER MEDALISTS REPRESENTING THE U.S.A. AT THE 2011 WORLD AGILITY OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS! DUDLEY EARNED THE OPPORTUNITY TO REPRESENT THE U.S.A. WITH BOTH MAVERICK & SWEET AT THE 2012 IFCS AGILITY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS! Dudley & her youngest Border Collie Jack have started competing together.  Jack has earned his AKC Excellent Agility and Jumpers titles, as well as several USDAA Masters titles. Jack earned a 3rd place in Round 1 of the 2011 AKC World Team Tryouts. Greg & his youngest Border Collie Spice have now started training and playing agility together. Coming soon to AKC and USDAA shows near you J Additionally, Greg has been recruited as Event Chairperson for the 2012 International Federation of Cynological Sports World Agility Championships and as a member of the coaching staff for the 2011 and 2012 Team USA World Agility Open.
Greg & Dudley first met at a dog agility competition in the Spring of 1999. Both of them have more than a decade of experience sharing their lives with and training various dog breeds including Labrador Retrievers, Cocker Spaniels, Poodles, and Border Collies. They currently live on a farm near Winston-Salem, NC with their seven dogs and their flock of sheep.
